Illawarra Medical Centre is a family medical practice that has serviced the local community and surrounding districts for more than 25 years. We are located in Ballajura, Perth, approximately 12km from the Perth CBD.
Our team, which comprises of up to fourteen (14) GP’s and seven (7) nurses at any one time, is dedicated to providing a high standard of medical care to all our patients.
We have a strong focus on paediatric health, women’s health, men’s health, dermatology services, mental health, travel health and vaccinations. In addition, we are able to provide general health assessments and police, aviation and dive medicals for our patients, as well as corporate health services for businesses.
We also have a visiting endocrinologist and dietitian available for appointments at our Ballajura practice, with a referral from your GP.
Walk in appointments are currently available for medical emergencies.
We operate extended hours, including Saturday appointments.
If you are unable to attend the practice and need to see a doctor at home, please contact us on (08) 9208 6400 during opening hours and we will arrange a home visit through our deputising service – Night Doctor. For assistance outside of our operating hours, please contact Night Doctor directly on 1300 644 483.
Our purpose built medical centre houses a comprehensive treatment facility, as well as two (2) fully equipped procedure rooms.
In addition, we have a strong focus on training General Practitioners, medical students and nurses for the future and support a number of research projects aimed at improving the health care of our patients.
On-site, you will find access to a pharmacy, dentist and physiotherapist, with the DermCosmesis skin clinic and Australian Clinical Labs pathology conveniently located next door.
