Dr Jens Zahringer
MD, AMC, FRACGP
Dr Jens Zahringer hails from Germany and moved to Australia in 2007. He completed his medical studies (MD) in Berlin before undertaking his GP training in Perth.
Prior to becoming a GP, Jens worked in a number of hospitals across a range of fields including occupational medicine, paediatrics, obstetrics and gynaecology, psychiatry, surgery and medicine. He also spent almost 2 years working solely in the field of occupational medicine.
In addition to enjoying all aspects of general practice, Jens’ particular areas of interest include workers compensation and occupational health, paediatric health, men’s health and travel health.
Outside of work, Jens likes to play squash and enjoys spending time with his family. He loves to travel and explore the great outdoors through hiking, diving or just hitting the beach.
Jens holds registration through the Australian Medical Council (AMC) and is a Fellow of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners (FRACGP).
