Fiona is originally from South Africa, where she completed her medical degree before immigrating to Perth in 2010. She completed a Fellowship in Emergency Medicine in 2017 and has worked as a consultant for the last 7 years.

Fiona has worked at a number of locations throughout South Africa and Western Australia, including Johannesburg, Cape Town, Fremantle Hospital, Joondalup Health Campus, Royal Perth Hospital and Midland Hospital. She has also worked regionally in Geraldton and Northam, and has experience in emergency Telehealth services across regional and remote WA.

Fiona has a particular interest in paediatrics, men’s health, women’s health and geriatrics.

Outside of work, you’re likely to find her exercising, enjoying the outdoors, or spending time with her family, cats and dog.
